To note the resources available for investments and the treasury management practices that are followed to protect funds and generate income.

Decision

(a)          That authority be delegated to the Chief Executive, in consultation with the Leader of Council and the section 151 officer and, if available, the relevant Brief holder and the Brief holder responsible for Finance and Assets; to make all decisions he/she considers necessary or expedient to acquire land or property assets on behalf of the Borough Council; so long as there are funds available from a budget within the control of the Management Committee.

(b)          In the event that this power is exercised, the decision be reported back to the Management Committee at the next available meeting.
